Alex Caruso could make his debut with Team USA this year. According to Joe Vardon of The Athletic, the Bulls guard has been approached by the national team head coach Steve Kerr about playing in this year’s FIBA World Cup.

This season Caruso is averaging 5.6 points, 3.1 rebounds and 3.1 assists in 24.1 minutes per game.

The Americans will play the group stage games in the Philippines against the hosts and two more teams to be determined during the draw that will take place on April 29.
