Ja Morant is facing a potential 50-game suspension for allegedly carrying a firearm to the Grizzlies premises (plane) and has been investigated by the police.
Most recently it has been reported that the young star has entered a counselling program. NBA insider Marc J. Spears shared his inside information into the situation which should worry Memphis fans.
“There’s things I’m hearing that I’d rather probably not say on this podcast, but I hope he’s taking care of him of himself… My guess now is that he doesn’t play the rest of the season,” Spears said on the Hoop Collective Podcast, per ClutchPoints.
This season Morant has been averaging 27.1 points, 6 rebounds and 8.2 assists ins 32.5 minutes per game. The Grizzlies are 3-2 without him.
