EA7 Milano have made an offer to free agent Jimmer Fredette, according to various sources in Italy.

The former BYU guard is considering Milano’s proposal even if his first goal is to remain in the NBA, where he last played with the New Orleans Pelicans.

Selected with the 10th overall pick of the 2011 NBA Draft, Fredette averaged 6.1 points per game in a total of 229 games.

If he did choose to move to Italy, Fredette would no doubt play a key role with EA7 Milano, who have already parted ways with Daniel Hackett and coach Luca Banchi.

However, the club have extended the contract of Italian international Alessandro Gentile through to 2018 and hired Jasmin Repesa as head coach.
