With the player already announcing his return to China on his social media account, Panathinaikos officially released the American guard after one season. The financial difficulties that the club is facing, along with Fredette’s performance this season, which wasn’t the one everyone was expecting, led the Greek club and the player to a mutual “divorce”.
Fredette has already found a new team, moving back to China for the Shanghai Sharks. Panathinaikos thanked the player for his contribution to the club wishing him the best of luck.
