Jimmer Fredette to reportedly sign with the Shanghai Sharks

The American guard is reportedly ready for his return to the Chinese league.

Jimmer Fredette is expected to leave Panathinaikos soon. Even though the American guard is still under contract with the Greek club, he seems unwilling to accept a high salary cut. Panathinaikos is unable to cover the contract of Fredette, who had one of the highest contracts in the team, and so the player is already looking for the next team in his career.

According to Sportando, the player is close to signing a 1.6 million contract with the Shanghai Sharks, where he was playing for three years (2016-2019), and return to the Chinese league.
