Michael Porter Jr. was ejected from the game between the Nuggets and Spurs after getting into altercation with Zach Collins.

It was his first ejection in the league for the 24-year-old small forward. After the game he was asked about the incident.

“I think it was pretty clear what happened,” Porter said. “He got dunked on and he wanted to run up when my back is turned towards him and then get in my face. That’s pretty much all that happened.”

He was then asked what was the explanation for the ejection from the referees.

“They said because I put my hand on his neck, but that’s natural reaction,” the Nuggets forward said. “He’s lucky he didn’t get hit by being in my face like that. That’s a split second reaction. That’s what they told me.”
