Mike Brown got major support from a notable former player on his current bid to win this season’s Coach of the Year.

Replying to a Twitter post that appears to be campaigning for Brown to win the award due to his brilliance in leading the Sacramento Kings this season, Los Angeles Lakers superstar LeBron James is nothing but supportive of his ex-mentor.

Both James and Brown have shared a collaboration in the future Hall of Famer’s first year in the Cleveland Cavaliers. Frankly, Brown won a Coach of the Year award in 2008-09, in which James also won his first league MVP as they powered the Cavs to 66 regular season wins.

Under Brown, the Kings had a renaissance year and are poised to finally make it to the playoffs for the first time since 2006, boasting the West’s second-best record with a 39-26 record.
