It is official – Russell Westbrook will finish the season with the Clippers. The 34-year-old point guard was traded by the Lakers to the Jazz before the trade deadline but agreed to a buyout to sign with another Los Angeles team.
His former teammate Anthony Davis gave his thoughts on Russ joining the Clippers. “I’m not part of that team,” he said. “I have no idea what their locker room was like, what their chemistry was like…
“Honestly, I don’t watch the Clippers like that I got three kids I don’t have time to. I don’t know, I know they got rid of John [Wall] and Reggie [Jackson], so it’s another point guard for them. I’m not sure how Ty Lue and coaching staff will utilize him, but I’m pretty sure he’s glad to stay in LA.”
