It has been widely reported that the Lakers are interested in trading for Kyrie Irving and at the same time moving Russell Westbrook. However, so far Los Angeles has been unable to reach an agreement with the Nets. Some analysts say that at one more team would be needed for the trade to work.

One NBA insider thinks that the trade should be structured differently to begin with. He proposes that the Lakers offer not just Westbrook but also Anthony Davis in exchange for Irving and Kevin Durant.

An NBA insider had a different (and broader) take on Kyrie Irving and the Nets. “Kyrie is the move. They should offer Anthony Davis with Russell Westbrook. Try and get Kevin Durant. KD for AD and a pick is as close as will get to what they want.”
