This year’s Slam Dunk Contest champion Mac McClung is still waiting for a chance to play in the NBA.

The 24-year-old point guard is on a two-way deal with the 76ers and currently plays for the Delaware Blue Coats of the G League.

McClung says that it is not all about improving certain area of his game, but just getting the actual chance which he says he has not gotten yet.

“I think like it’s easy to say like, ‘Oh, if I get better at this, I’ll get a chance.’ But a lot of it is just waiting your turn. Like, I really haven’t had a turn yet, you know what I mean? So when I have that turn, I believe I’ll make the most of it,” McClung said. “I just try to play the game the right way, not really force too much.”
