Kyrie Irving has a reputation of a controversial person, but his former teammates view him differently. Nic Claxton had nothing but good words to say about the superstar.
The two players have been teammates in Brooklyn for four years before Irving was traded to the Mavericks this past Sunday.
“Our relationship always transcended basketball. He was one of the best teammates that I’ve had despite people want to say,” Claxton said about Irving, per Kristian Winfield. “Whatever picture (people paint). He’s one of the best teammates and we’ll continue to have a good relationship.”
