The Mavericks lost against the Clippers (98-112). It was the fourth loss in five games for Dallas.

Luka Doncic got early into foul trouble as he picked three fouls in the first half. The Slovenian superstar avoided getting more fouls in the game, but it had an impact on the way he played. He still finished the game with team-high 29 points and 10 rebounds.

After the game Dallas head coach Jason Kidd talked about the Luka’s foul trouble, stressing the importance of having other players that can handle it.

“They’re going to put him in everything,” Kidd said, per Callie Caplan. “They’re not dumb over there, so for us to be able to grow as a team in these situations and see who can handle it, I thought Spencer and that group did a really good job.”

This season Doncic is averaging 33.7 points, 8.9 rebounds and 8.8 assists in 37.5 minutes per game.
