Spencer Dinwiddie scored 17 points on 7/13 shooting in 51 minutes of play, helping the Mavericks take down the Lakers in double-overtime.
Six of his points came in the second overtime in which Dallas scored a total of 11 points. Dinwiddie’s role in the win was recognized by Luka Doncic.
“Amazing. He’s an amazing player,” the Slovenian superstar said about Dinwiddie. “Anytime he wants, he can go dunk, he can score. He’s a really good player. And he helped us a lot. He won us the game today.”
This season Dinwiddie is averaging 16.1 points, 3.1 rebounds and 5.1 assists in 33.8 minutes per game.
