Recently Damian Lillard surpassed legendary Clyde Drexler on the Trail Blazers’ all-time scoring list.

The 32-year-old point guard was asked by the media if he considers himself to be the greatest Trail Blazer of all-time.

Lillard responded that it is not for him make such determination. At the same time, he listed his accomplishments while playing in Portland.

Via Sean Highkin:

“That’s not for me to say. My trainer, Phil Beckner, always tells me, ‘When you’re great, you don’t need to tell everybody. Everybody will tell you.’ I think this is one of those things where I do think the body of work is there. I think my commitment and my investment to this organization is there. I think how often I’ve won, being a winner and having a lot of success individually and as a team is there. I think from a notoriety standpoint, having a signature shoe and being in national and international campaigns, I don’t think anybody’s done that before me. For me personally, the way that I want to stamp myself is by winning a championship. I think the body of work is there for that claim to be made by other people, but it’s not for me to say.”

This season Lillard is averaging 27.5 points, 3.8 rebounds and 7.2 assists in 35.1 minutes per game.
