Nikola Jokic delivered a big-time performance on Christmas Day as he led the Nuggets to an overtime win over the Suns (128-125).
The Serbian superstar dropped 41 points, grabbed 15 rebounds and dished out 15 assists for a massive triple-double. He had the most points in a triple-double on Christmas Day.
Jokic’s performance drew a reaction from former NBA star Kevin Garnett. “Jokic plays beautiful basketball…” the 2008 NBA champion tweeted.
This season Jokic, a reigning two-time NBA MVP, is averaging 24.9 points, 10.9 rebounds and 9.3 assists in 33.1 minutes per game.
