The relationship between Zach LaVine and the Bulls has been a topic of speculations in the media this week.

When asked about the reports, the two-time NBA All-Star denied being disconnected from the team.

Regardless of this situation, LaVine wants to join the Lakers, according to an Eastern Conference executive.

He has a number of connections to Los Angeles having played college basketball at UCLA and is represented by Klutch Sports, the same agency that represents LeBron James and Anthony Davis, among other Lakers players.

“LaVine wants to go to the Lakers, that has been pretty clear for a while now. The agents (from Klutch Sports) want him to be in Los Angeles, he is a UCLA guy and they did some rattling about his contract last offseason, to kind of lay the groundwork if things blew up. Which they seem to be doing.”

The executive does not see a trade that could send LaVine to L.A. apart from one that would include Anthony Davis.

This season LaVine is averaging 21.7 points, 4.4 rebounds and 4.3 assists in 34.3 minutes per game.
