The Bulls had a heated locker room conversation after the team lost against the Timberwolves. Reportedly, it related to lack of defensive effort from Zach LaVine.

Speculations grew suggesting that the two-time NBA All-Star has been disconnected from the team. According to LaVine, that is not the case.

“I didn’t come up with the report,” the 27-year-old shooting guard said. “It didn’t come from my mouth, it didn’t come from DeMar’s mouth, it didn’t come from Vooch’s. These opinion are getting put on me like I said something.

“If I had something to say about the team, it would come from my mouth. That didn’t come from me. I’m here answering your questions. I feel good about the team. Obviously, we’re frustrated cause we’ve lost some games.”

LaVine is averaging 21.7 points, 4.4 rebounds and 4.2 assists in 34.2 minutes per game for Chicago.
