After a sluggish start of the season, the Lakers (8-12) have starting turning things around. The Purple and Gold won six of their last eight game, most recently against the Trail Blazers (128-109).
Head coach Darvin Ham says he is encouraged by the way his team has been playing recently. “I’m very encouraged, I’m very excited,” he said. “Basically a fourth of the season is out of our way. Just now we’re starting to get whole and tonight going to the game we lose two more guys.
“Overall I’m pleased. Guys are embracing it, they had a lot of fun playing today, they played the right way on both sides of the ball. I’m very highly encouraged.”
