It is mid-November, but Carmelo Anthony is still without a team. The 38-year-old forward became a free agent after a season with the Lakers.

With no serious interest from NBA teams, a Taiwanese team is looking into a possibility of signing ten-time All-Star. Former NBA coach Mike Woodson thinks that Melo belongs in the league and would have him on his team if he was still coaching there.

“If I was still coaching in that league, he’d be on my team,” he said on SiriusXM NBA Radio. “That’s just how much respect and love I have for Carmelo Anthony, his body of work that he’s put in…

“I still think he can get you 15 to 20 points a night. if he is coming off the bench, you just got to utilize him. I got nothing but love for Carmelo Anthony. He’s gotten a bad rep over the years. I would love to see him back in the game I think it’s still good for the game to have him back.”

Last season Anthony averaged 13.3 points, 4.2 rebounds and 1 assist in 26 minutes per game for Los Angeles.
