The Los Angeles Clippers will continue to shelf Kawhi Leonard, who is set to miss his third-straight game against the New Orleans Pelicans (h/t ESPN’s Ohm Youngmisuk).

The Clippers have noted that Leonard won’t be available to play due to “right knee injury management.”

The said injury note didn’t allow Leonard to play on their back-to-back loss against the Oklahoma City Thunder earlier this week. The two-time Finals MVP reportedly experienced soreness in his right knee, and flew back to Los Angeles to take medications and examinations.

Leonard notably missed the entirety of last season after suffering a partial ACL tear in the middle of the Clippers’ 2021 postseason series with the Utah Jazz. He is currently averaging 12.5 points, 6.5 boards, 2.0 assists and 1.5 steals for two games playing off the bench.

On the other side, Marcus Morris Sr., who also missed the past two games due to personal reasons, will now be activated per coach Ty Lue.

The Clippers sits at 2-3 record and will look to snap it on their upcoming Sunday duel.
