Former All-star guard Victor Oladipo reportedly made a return to Miami this offseason while rejecting a much better playing offer from the Washington Wizards.

As reported by Jake Fischer of Yahoo! Sports, Oladipo turned down a “potential starting opportunity” from the Wizards, one of the teams that expressed significant interest to ink him via contract.

But instead, Oladipo went on to remain and sign a two-year, $18.2MM with the Heat.

Marred by past injuries, Oladipo has been settling with a minimal role for now. He averaged 12.4 points, 3.5 assists, 2.9 boards in eight games with the Heat this past season.
