Washington Wizards star man Bradley Beal has left the league’s health and safety protocols, but he’ll remain out day-to-day due to a non-COVID illness.

As such, he will not suit up for the team’s preseason match against the Charlotte Hornets this Monday.

Beal was initially announced unavailable to play after testing positive from the disease on Sunday. But upon his progressive recovery, there’s a huge possibility for him to lead the Wizards on their season opener in the following weeks.

Beal inked a supermax deal with Washington last offseason ranging around $251 million.
