After finishing 12th in the East last year, Washington Wizards head coach Wes Unseld Jr. expects the Conference to remain very competitive this season.

(Via Hoop District):

“The level of competition, particularly in the East, I think is dramatically different than what it was say 5 years ago. The competitive side, there are no easy nights. So we gotta have that mindset that every night we gotta go out and earn it. There’s no throwaway games. There’s no games you’re just gonna walk into and win. We’re gonna have to scratch and fight to get every win that we get.”
