Washington Wizards head coach Wes Unseld Jr. sees an improved Deni Avdija on the offensive end this season (12.1 PPG/4.0 APG/51.9% FG/34.8% 3-PT/84.1% FT are all career-highs).

“He’s shown tremendous growth in his poise. I thought at times in the past he could get sped up a bit. He’s doing a much better job of being under control while still being able to play downhill, play with force, make plays in the paint, score and finish through contact, get to the free throw line. Those are added layers, and I think he’s shown more consistency with his three-ball. I think that opens the floor for him.”
