Myles Turner was reportedly a target of the Lakers along with Buddy Hield. With the start of the 2022-2023 just around the corner, it seems that the center is remaining in Indiana. At least for the near future.

According Pacers general manager Chad Buchanan, Turner will be his team’s starting center on opening night, as reported by Evan Sidery.

Buchanan’s comments ended trade rumors linking the 26-year-old center with Los Angeles.

Last season Turner averaged 12.9 points, 7.1 rebounds and 1 assist in 29.4 minutes per game for the Pacers.
