Minnesota’s young star Anthony Edwards does not hide his ambitions. The 21-year-old small forward wants to be in the MVP race next season and is working towards that goal.

According to the people familiar with the situation, Edwards looks like a monster this offseason as he prepares for next year. Earlier this summer a video was published of him breaking the rim by dunking.

“I’ve had multiple people just say that he looks like a monster. We will see what happens when the lights come on, when training camp comes in and the games get going,” Jon Krawczynski, a senior writer at The Athletic, said on the The Jon Krawczynski Show, via Joe Nelson of Sports Illustrated. “I have heard a lot of really rave reviews about how Ant is looking.”

This past season Edwards averaged 21.3 points, 4.8 rebounds and 3.8 assists in 34.3 minutes per game for the Timberwolves.
