Minnesota Timberwolves sophomore Anthony Edwards is not modest when it comes to his goals for the near future. The 20-year-old small forward has ambitions to be an MVP candidate next year.
“It might not be this year but next year for sure… I’m going for MVP next year for sure,” Edwards said after his 40-point performance in a win over the Portland Trail Blazers.
This season former number one draft pick is averaging 22.7 points, 5.2 rebounds and 3.5 assists in 35.1 minutes per game for the Timberwolves.
