According to Shams Charania of The Athletic and Stadium, small forward Lonnie Walker IV, 23, is signing a one-year, $6.5 million deal with the Los Angeles Lakers after the San Antonio Spurs decided to pull the qualifying offer they made him.
During the 2021-22 season, Walker averaged 12.1 points, 2.6 rebounds, and 2.2 assists while shooting 40.7 percent from the floor and 31.4 percent from deep in 70 games for the Spurs.
