Andrew Bogut has his own thoughts on why Mark Jackson hasn’t gained another shot to take a drawing board in the NBA.

In the recent Ask Me Anything post in the Golden State Warriors’ Subreddit, Bogut details why a coaching opportunity remains elusive for Jackson.

I think everyone deserves a second chance and he will eventually get another chance. But the well noted church within a locker room I think hurts his job prospects…

During his time in the Bay Area, there were murmurs of Jackson’s shocking religious behaviors and being an issue in the Dubs’ locker room.

After being named as a candidate, Jackson failed to nail a coaching job for the Los Angeles Lakers and the Sacramento Kings starting next season.

Following the Golden State’s first-round downfall against the L.A. Clippers in 2014, the franchise brass parted ways with Jackson after a three-year head coaching stint. He was replaced by Steve Kerr, and the rest was history.
