The Warriors tied the NBA Finals series 1-1 by winning Game 2 against the Celtics. After allowing their opponents to score 50 points in the first half, Golden State limited Boston to just 38 points in the second half. In the end, the Dubs recorded a comfortable win (107-88).

Jordan Poole, who scored 17 points in Game 2 after finishing Game 1 with 9 points, was asked what was his team’s defensive philosophy for this game.

“Just bring the physicality, bring the energy,” the 22-year-old shooting guard said. “Just how to disrupt them a little bit, take them our of their patterns.

“As we saw in the first game, once they get going, it’s hard to stop a good team like that, especially when you’re so good on the other end of the ball. So, just trying to take out the other guys and just stay locked in. It’s the finals and we just got to come down to it and just win games.”
