The Golden State Warriors star guard Stephen Curry scored 21 points and a game-high 12 rebounds while his Warriors beat the Dallas Mavericks 112-87 on Wednesday night for a 1-0 lead in the Western Conference finals.

Andrew Wiggins, who worked end to end to make sure the Mavs’ Luka Doncic (20 points) couldn’t get going, added 19 points and Jordan Poole also scored 19 off the bench for the Warriors. Game 2 is set for Friday night at Chase Center.

After earning a convincing victory over the Dallas Mavericks, the Golden State Warriors player Steph Curry talked about his fellow teammate Klay Thompson’s championship or bust quote from early in the season:

“We’re not skipping ahead any part of this journey, we understand we just won 1 game in the Western Conference Finals and we got a lot of work left ahead of us … would love to make him a prophet.”
