Following Saturday night’s 142-112 win over the Memphis Grizzlies in the Western Conference semifinals, the Golden State Warriors star Jordan Poole responded to the Grizzlies guard Ja Morant’s tweet saying he “broke the code” by grabbing Ja’s right knee late in the game:
“When we doubled him, I hit the ball, l was going for the ball. Obviously, you don’t want to see anybody get hurt, I’m not even that type of player,” Poole said, via ESPN. “I respect everybody. Obviously, hopefully, he gets better and we can see him out there next game.”
