Kyrie Irving and LeBron James might have re-united last season, new report suggests. For time last year the Nets were open to talking to other teams about trading their superstar point guard.
That is when some members of the Lakers organization discussed making a move to acquire Irving. However, it did not go any further than that.
Based on his public comments, Irving appears to be committed to stay in Brooklyn along with his co-superstar Kevin Durant.
“Several outlets, including SNY, reported that the Nets had been open to talking to teams about potential Kyrie Irving trades during that time. Obviously, nothing came to fruition. But some members of the Lakers organization discussed the possibility of trading for Irving during that stretch of the season, sources say.”
