The second round series between the Warriors and Grizzlies are turning out to be tense. In two games there have been two Flagrant 2 fouls given to players on both teams.

Draymond Green got his in Game 1 and Dillon Brooks received a Flagrant 2 foul in Game 2. In addition the Warriors forward was hit in the face by Xavier Tillman’s elbow as he drove for the loose ball early in the first quarter.

As he was walking through the tunnel, Green showed middle fingers to the Memphis crowd as they booed the three-time NBA champion. After the game he explained why he did that.

“You’re gonna boo somebody who get elbowed in the eye and face running on blood, you should get flipped off. So I’ll take the fine, I’ll go do an appearance and make up the money.

“But it felt really good to flip them off. You’re gonna boo someone who get elbow in the eye and blood running on your face? I could have a concussion or anything. So if they’re going to be that nasty, I can be nasty too. I’m assuming the cheers was because they knew I’ll get fined. Great, I make $25 million a year, I should be just fine.”
