The Russell Westbrook experience may be coming to an end for the Los Angeles Lakers. Sports analyst Marc Stein reported the Michael Jordan-owned Charlotte Hornets may be interested in trading for Russ and if that doesn’t work, the Lakers could just waive the former MVP.

Hornets are led by second-year guard LaMelo Ball, who averages 20 points and 7.6 assists per game. Russell averages 18.5 points and 7.1 assists per game. Westbrook, Anthony Davis, and LeBron James played in just 21 of the Lakers’ games this season.
