The Phoenix Suns star guard Devin Booker scored 32 points along with seven rebounds to lead his team to their franchise-record 63rd victory on Tuesday night, beating a Los Angeles Lakers team minus LeBron James 121-110 to eliminate them from the playoff race.
“Tonight is unbelievably special for so many people,” the Suns head coach Monty Williams said, via ESPN. “Not just the organization, but the people in the city, who have basically birthed the Suns. Everywhere I go, people say the Suns are their baby. It’s hard to put it into words, but we’re all pretty grateful.”
