The Brooklyn Nets star point guard Kyrie Irving scored a career-high 60 points, most in the Nets’ NBA history, to lead the team to a 150-108 victory over the Orlando Magic on Tuesday night.
The Los Angeles Lakers legend Magic Johnson took to Twitter to share his excitement about Irving who is eligible to watch the game as a fan, but not play under New York’s Covid-19 rules:
“Kyrie Irving put on a dazzling show against Orlando tonight scoring 60 points! I sure hope the vaccine mandate ends in NYC in time for the Playoffs so we can watch him play in every Playoff game. He is unreal!!”
