Amid reports that Lakers general manager and vice-president of basketball operations Rob Pelinka is under pressure for the way he manages the team, NBA inside Marc Stein thinks the reality is different.
In his Substack post Stein gave his opinion that the executive will remain in his position: “Certainly people around the league are wondering and asking the question, ‘Is Rob Pelinka in some sort of jeopardy?’ But from my vantage point, I don’t think he is. I think he will continue to be in charge of this front office.”
The Lakers failed to make any moves before the trade deadline. Recently they waived DeAndre Jordan and added D.J. Augustin and Wenyen Gabriel to the roster.
