The arrival of James Harden gave new hope for the Philadelphia 76ers. He joined forces with a fellow superstar Joel Embiid to elevate the team to the next level, Sixers’ owner Josh Harris thinks.

“We have 2 great players to build around…” he said, per Adam Zagoria. “I think we have the ingredients to win here. I think we have what it takes to win a championship. We’re just going to keep trying until we get there.”

Harden described his situation with the 76ers as an opportunity of a lifetime. “I’m excited, I’m healthy and it’s the opportunity of a lifetime,” he said.

Philadelphia is currently fourth in the Eastern Conference with 34 wins and 22 losses. They are 2.5 games back behind the first-placed Miami Heat.
