James Harden had his best playoff game of this year as he scored team-high 31 points, grabbed 7 rebounds and dished out 9 assists helping the 76ers win Game 4 against the Heat.
His offensive performance was much needed for Philadelphia, especially with Miami making runs during the game. MVP candidate Joel Embiid was asked about Harden’s impact on the team during the postgame press conference.
“That’s the reason why we brought him,” Embiid said about Harden. “Since he’s gotten here he’s been adjusting based on what we need from him whether it’s playmaking and tonight just going and getting a bucket especially based on how they were guarding everybody else making tough shots.
“He’s been doing that his whole career. That’s why he’s here. It’s only 2-2, we got a lot of work to do but I’m excited about what we can accomplish.”
