Kendrick Nunn could be several days away from his season debut with the Los Angeles Lakers, according to head coach Frank Vogel.

As coach Vogel told reporters on Tuesday, the young guard is ‘getting closer’ to his return to the court. However, the veteran coach couldn’t provide an exact timetable on Nunn’s recovery.

Kendrick Nunn is dealing with a right knee injury (bone bruise) he suffered in preseason. He hasn’t played for the Purple and Gold so far, but it seems his debut is close. For their part, the Lakers (21-20), who are struggling this season, will face the Sacramento Kings (16-27) on Wednesday.
