Montrezl Harrell and Kentavious Caldwell-Pope had a physical altercation during halftime of the Washington Wizards’ last game against the Oklahoma City Thunder on Tuesday, per Shams Charania of The Athletic and Stadium.

Charania noted that Harrell was upset with Caldwell-Pope about not passing him the ball before the first half ended. The two started talking against each other midway through the dugout and were then separated after being entangled and throwing missed punches. As all personnel had entered the locker room, the altercation ended and an increased security presence was made.

Eventually, the Wizards won their second-straight game, as Caldwell-Pope (16 points, 3 rebounds, 3 assists) and Harrell (12 points and 7 boards) aided the sizzling Kyle Kuzma who had 29 points and five boards. The two even managed to share the court during the second half, and the swingman further drained a cold-blooded banker three in the dying seconds of the match to lift up D.C.

The Wizards are now 21-20 and will look beyond to reclaim the high position they had from the past months in the East.
