Stephen Curry had a great night against the Grizzlies, as he led the Golden State Warriors to the victory over a pesky Memphis team. Now, they will face the league-leading Phoenix Suns on Christmas day.

Curry, who dropped 46 points in Thursday’s game, talked about the good and the bad of him playing on Saturday. Curry revealed that he understands playing on Christmas comes with the territory of being a consistently top team.

However, he made clear he does not like playing on Dec. 25, because he has not performed very well so far in these occasions.

“I like it because it means you’re one of the marquee teams… I personally don’t like it because I haven’t played well. I’ve struggled a lot on Christmas for whatever reason so I’m trying to rectify that on Saturday,” Curry.

Curry and co. have been on a great run so far with 25 wins in the first 31 games of the season. The “Dubs” superstar is among the favorites to win the MVP award and one of the best scorers in the league.

He will certainly look to rectify for his previous performances, with Curry scoring less than 20 points in the previous 8 Christmas games.
