Los Angeles Lakers superstar LeBron James received criticism from one of the greatest basketball players of all time for his celebratory ‘big balls’ dance after a made three-pointer against the Indiana Pacers.

According to Kareem Abdul-Jabbar, the gesture used by James was disrespectful to the other team and is stupid and childish.

“For me, winning is enough,” the six-time NBA champion said on his Substack Commentary Week 1 as transcribed by Kurt Helin of NBC Sports. “Why do you need to do a stupid, childish dance and disrespect the other team on the court? It doesn’t make sense. GOATs don’t dance.”
