The Los Angeles Lakers suffered their eleventh loss of the season after falling against the struggling Sacramento Kings in overtime at Staples Center.

The Big Three of LeBron James (30 points, 7 rebounds, 11 assists), Anthony Davis (23 points, 8 rebounds, 4 assists) and Russell Westbrook (29 points, 10 rebounds and 11 assists) played major minutes – 50, 49 and 51, respectively, but it wasn’t enough for the purple and gold to win.

After the loss, Lakers head coach gave his thoughts on what went wrong for his team. “There are a lot of possessions there, always some good, some bad,” he said.

“We did a good job letting Bron orchestrate for a lot of the action and when it seemed like he was getting gassed, we diversified by looking at Melo, at AD and Russ into pick’n’roll, just try to diversify. I thought we were pretty good on that side of the ball, just didn’t get enough stops.

“I mean they had a lot of tough shots, a lot of tough two’s, mid-range shots contested and you top your cap on those situations. But you’re up 13 in the fourth quarter, you get that W.”

According to a recent report, Vogel, who signed a contract extension with the Lakers this past offseason, is facing mounting pressure for the worrisome start of the season.
