Alex Caruso will return to Staples Center for the first time as an opponent and Anthony Davis is looking forward to facing him again.

Caruso spent four years with the Lakers (2017-2021) and was one of the key players in the team’s championship run in 2020.

“Who? I don’t know that guy (laughs). Nah, it’s gonna be fun playing against AC. All the stuff he brought to our team to win a championship and to our team last year. He was a big part of what we did here,” Anthony Davis told reporters, via Michael Corvo of ClutchPoints.

For his part, Alex Caruso decided to leave the Lakers in offseason and signed a three-year, $37M contract with the Bulls.
