The Wolves took control after the first half and outscored the Lakers 40-12 in the third quarter to cruise to the victory. The hosts never recovered and suffered a heavy home loss.

Karl-Anthony Towns (29) and D’Angelo Russell (22) combined for 51 points for the winners. On the other hand, Anthony Davis (22 points) and Russell Westbrook (20) were the only players in double figures for the losing squad.
