Miami Heat star Giannis Antetokounmpo has expressed his excitement about playing in front of the team’s fans, saying he is enjoying their energy and the atmosphere inside the arena.
The Greek forward explained that representing Miami has given him a different experience, particularly because the same supporters who previously watched him as an opponent are now cheering for him.
Antetokounmpo said he feels energized and excited when playing in front of the Heat crowd and is looking forward to developing a stronger connection with the fans.
“I love it. It’s fun. I feel energized, I feel alive, I have jitters … they have seen me play but from the other side and now we’re on the same side, so just fun being out there … it’s good to get to know the fans and how they react. They started getting going in the 3Q/4Q … I’m excited to get to know the fans and get this season rolling.”
