The New York Knicks are now 2-2 in their home games this season after losing to the Toronto Raptors at Madison Square Garden (104-113). The hosts were unable to stop O.G. Anunoby, who had 36 points and Gary Trent Jr., who added 26.
After the game, Knicks guard RJ Barrett talked about the importance for his team to win home games, which they failed to do against the Raptors.
“It’s the Garden. We try to protect the Garden at all costs, and we didn’t do that tonight,” he said postgame. “They played harder than us, and in the NBA, most of the time, the harder playing team’s gonna win.”
