Denver Nuggets rookie Bones Hyland provided a much-needed spark off the bench in their 93-91 win vs. the Minnesota Timberwolves on Saturday.

The 21-year-old went for 8 points and 3 assists in just under 18 minutes, hitting a big three pointer when the Nuggets trailed by five with 5:25 remaining in the game.

Hyland hasn’t been a major part of the rotation yet this season, but proved a lot last night and said during postgame that he remains to stay ready whenever his name is called.

(Via Denver Nuggets):

“Once my name is called, I just want to be ready. I don’t want to be that type of player who’s not ready, and then you gotta go right back down to the end of the bench. I’m definitely showing them that I always stay ready.”
